ü      Developed Adley Landry Reservoir and Walking Trail

ü      Developed Soccer Fields and Restrooms at Eric Andolsek Park 

ü      Maintain professionally manicured baseball/softball fields

ü      Installed and improved fencing, dugouts and bleachers

ü      Installed Lightning Notification System at various parks and pool

ü      Renovated pavilions at Peltier Park and Martin Luther King Park

ü      Constructed walking trails with lighting

ü      Installed Life Trail Equipment in parks   

ü      Added ADA accessible playground equipment at Peltier Park and MLK Park through Lorio Foundation and Lafourche Association for Retarded Citizens

ü      Installed new lighting and scoreboards to sports fields

ü      Constructed pedestrian bridge with lights from Peltier Park to NSU

ü      Constructed new concession stands and restrooms at

various city parks; providing ADA accessibility to restrooms

ü      Constructed Welcome Signs at all city entrances

ü      Constructed maintenance building at Peltier Park

ü      Constructed pedestrian bridge over Bayou Lafourche near Chamber office

ü      Installed seasonal banners on Canal Boulevard, Downtown Thibodaux and Tiger Drive.  Banners along Tiger Drive were the first-ever banners honoring the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department and purchased with Mayor Caillouet’s 2000 American Hometown Leadership Award funding from Wal-Mart

ü      Landscaping  of city properties including Scout Hut, Peltier Park, City Hall, Canal Boulevard, Red Cross Building, Senior Citizens Center, Stark Complex and Harang Auditorium

ü      Removal of dangerous or diseased trees on city property

ü      Christmas decorations throughout the city and on all bridges

ü      Bollards and landscaping on Canal Street Bridge

ü      Employed students to work during the summer helping to maintain fields and parks

ü      Downtown bayouside improvements and beautification

ü      Purchased Mobile Concession Stand used at all parks throughout city
